Ti-Down Ring and Locking Jack Cup

from $55.00

Introducing the the lightest, the strongest, and the sleekest tie down ring available, along with a positive-locking jack cup to match.

Whether your tying down, or jacking up, there’s no more secure of an option than the new titanium Ti-Down Ring and Locking Jack Cup.

Now you can be sure your airplane is secure on the wing jacks; not just hoping that a gust of wind, or bump from the hangar neighbor isn’t going to leave you with a hole in your wing and a bent spar flange.

The Ti-Down Ring is machined from 6AL-4V Titanium bar and weighs only 15 grams.

-Tested to over 4,000 lbf without failure, (loaded 15 degrees off-axis, with 1/8” exposed thread)

-Inherently corrosion resistant

-Minimal projection should you choose to leave them installed for flight.

-17/32” Hole allows use of 1/2” nylon rope, 11mm “Static Line”, or hooks/clips found on chain tie downs

-Includes a conical, stainless, rubber-backed washer for snugging into position without risk of scratching paint.

-Spherical bottom with tear-drop profile for smooth pivoting in the jack cup while lifting the airplane

-1” long threaded shank (3/8-16 thread)

-1/2” maximum width

The Locking Jack Cup is machined from aluminum and anodized red (not shown) for corrosion resistance. A stainless quick-release pin is included to positively lock the Ti-Down Ring into the cup.

-Standard size fits jacks with a ram diameter up to 1.25” (this encompasses most long-ram hydraulic jacks such as Torin, Big Red, Harbor Freight, etc)

-Oversize Fits cup-style bottle jacks with a 1.5” diameter cup

-Multiple set screws to allow concentric clamping onto undersized rams, with additional screws for locking through the ram eye.
